It is Azathoth, the Outer god
It is omnipresent, and has unfathomable power . Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes . There can be no definite description of Azathoth because everybody envisions him differently and he is always changing. . I tell you of the monstrous nuclear chaos beyond angled space which the  Necronomicon has mercifully cloaked under the name Azathoth . The allegorical figure of Azathoth, the primal monster who had given birth to the stars at the beginning of time, and who, according to an obscure tradition, would devour them at its end . Azathoth is the greatest, who rules all infinity from his throne at the center of chaos. His body is composed of all the bright stars of the visible universe, but his face is veiled in darkness . If he should awaken even for a few moments all of existence will be doomed . Elohim must imagine, and stay awake As Azathoth must dream, and be in an endless slumber For if both sides ever switch, everyone, and everything in the known and unknown will be annihilated . His great and terrible abyssal maw exists at the entrance of every black hole, Only the most suicidal nihilist would ever consider awakening him . I have writ much here about Azathoth, but for you to hear a description of Azathoth in The Eldritch tongue, to see past the curtain of the known, and know the face of oblivion To be witness to a horror unimaginable I suspect death would follow soon after, for no man can look upon the absolute unconscious, the end of infinity, and survive

He is Nyarlathotep, the Outer god
Avatar
Greymastermad11 15-Apr-20 10:28 AM
also known as The Crawling Chaos, Ahtu, The Black Wind, The Crawling Mist, The Faceless god, The Dweller in Darkness, The god of The Bloody Tongue, and The Skinless One; among many other names . Most of the Outer gods are exiled, far from the known dimensions, however Nyarlathotep is not, he is active and frequently walks the Earth in the guise of a human being, usually a tall, slim, joyous man.  . He has numerous other forms, most of which are horrific, and would cause madness upon observation, he is also said to be the most "human" of the Outed gods. . He is servant to his father, Azathoth, and is the "messenger of hidden and terrible powers", it is believed moreover that Nyarlathotep will help to bring about the end of the world. . Lovecraft wrote about Nyarlathotep, as the entity was the subject of a recurring nightmare he had experienced since the age of 10. . "It was the eldritch scurrying of those fiend-born rats, always questing for new horrors, and determined to lead me on even unto those grinning caverns of earth's centre where Nyarlathotep, the mad faceless god, howls blindly to the piping of two amorphous idiot flute-players."

She is Shub-Niggurath, the Outer god
also known as The Black Goat of the Woods, with a Thousand Young, Shumath-Ghun, and The Black Nebula . She is a known mate to three entities, these being, The Nameless Mist, Yog-Sothoth, and Hastur - The King in Yellow . She is a fertility goddess, made up of an enormous mass which extrudes black tentacles, slime-dripping mouths, and short, writhing goat legs . She may give milk, that when drank can turn men into monsters, and she continuously gives birth, and while some of her spawn survive, others are reabsorbed back into her being . It is said that only the most worthy of her cultists will be taken by her womb, and reborn as an immortal satyr
She is Y'houndeh, the Outer god
also known as The Elk-goddess . She is wife to Nyarlathotep, and used to be worshipped many millennia ago, by a civilization known as Hyperborea, during this time her worshippers worked to punish any heretics. When Hyperborea began to fail and began to fall, her cultists fell out of favor with her. . While she is considered to be gentle, beautiful, and kind Her cultists on the other hand spill blood in her name on a regular basis Is she innocent of these acts committed by her inquisitors?, or does she bathe in the blood of the heretics who fell upon her cultists blades? Perhaps both..... . Like an elk, she moves timidly across the Eldritch lands Like a delicate flower, in a field of madness

He is Yog-Sothoth, the Outer god
also known as The Lurker at The Threshold, The Key and The Gate, The Beyond One, and The Opener of The Way . He was born of The Nameless Mist, and is a mate to Shub-Niggurath . He is omniscient, and is said to know all secrets, He exists outside of time and space, and hungers endlessly for more knowledge . Yog-Sothoth knows the gate. Yog-Sothoth is the gate. Yog-Sothoth is the key and guardian of the gate. Past, present, future, all are one in Yog-Sothoth. He knows where the Old Ones broke through of old, and where They shall break through again. He knows where They have trod earth's fields, and where They still tread them, and why no one can behold Them as They tread. . Where he exists, all hidden and forbidden knowledge can be found, a realm filled with stacks of books as far and as tall as the eye can see; it is also said that if somehow a secret is kept from him, he would do anything to learn it. Offers of power, and threats of violence are two of the many things he would take upon himself to learn a particular secret withheld from him . When he chooses to appear to mortals, he often chooses a form of glowing orbs, tentacles, claws, eyes, and teeth; constantly shifting and reshaping, absorbing and remaking itself

It is Abhoth, the Outer god
also known as The Source of Uncleanliness . It is a horrid protean mass and said to be the ultimate source of abominations, also having a twisted and cynical mind, able to communicate telepathically with others near him. . - the gray mass quobbed and quivered, and swelled perpetually; and from it, in manifold fission, were spawned the anatomies that crept away on every side through the grotto. There were things like bodiless legs or arms that flailed in the slime, or heads that rolled, or floundering bellies with fishes' fins; and all manner of things malformed and monstrous, that grew in size as they departed from the neighborhood of Abhoth. And those that swam not swiftly ashore when they fell into the pool from Abhoth, were devoured by mouths that gaped in the parent bulk. . No two of Abhoth's children are alike. In general, they are complex life forms, but the majority of them are simple-minded, acting on impulse. Their forms can be anything from amorphous blobs and singular body parts, to queer humanoids and monstrous mutants. Abhoth's tentacles and limbs grab many of them, pulling them back and devouring them. Most of those that escape simply wander off, only a few of them tend to their sire's needs.
It is Ubbo-Sathla, the Outer god
It is also known as The Unbegotten Source . A mass without head or members, spawning the grey, formless efts of the prime and the grisly prototypes of terrene life. . It is a huge protoplasmic mass resting in a grotto deep beneath the frozen earth. The being is of a monstrous fecundity, spontaneously generating primordial single-celled organisms that pour unceasingly from its shapeless form. It guards a set of stone tablets believed to contain the knowledge of the Elder/Outer gods . The tablets that Ubbo-Sathla guards have been often sought by sorcerers, though no sorcerer has yet succeeded in acquiring them . There are theories that Ubbo-Sathla spawned Abhoth, or that Ubbo-Sathla and Abhoth are the same entity . It has dwelt on Earth since the first days of the planet's existence, and it is said that prototypes of some of the first life on Earth was born from Ubbo-Sathla

It is Aiueb Gnshal, the Outer god
also known as The Eyes Between Worlds, and The Child-Minded god . He appears as a formless black void with seven orb-like eyes, and is mainly folliwed by Ghouls who worship him in a defiled cult . . Looking into the eyes of this horrid being, after a disgusting and awful ritual, will allow you to see into the Court of Azathoth.
It is Daoloth, The Outer god
also known as The Render of Veils . It dwells in dimensions beyond human knowledge . Daoloth's indescribable shape causes viewers to go mad at the sight of him; thus, he must be summoned in pitch-black darkness. If not held within some kind of magical containment, he continues to expand and expand—perhaps even at an infinite rate. Those enveloped by the god are transported to utterly bizarre and remote worlds, usually perishing as a result. Daoloth's worship is rare on Earth.
It is Tulzscha, The Outer god
It appears as a blazing green ball of flame, dancing with its Lesser Outer Gods  at the court of Azathoth . When called to our world, it assumes a gaseous form, penetrates the planet to the core, then erupts from below as a pillar of flame. It cannot move from where it emerges . A belching column of sick greenish flame, spouting volcanically from depths profound and inconceivable, casting no shadows as healthy flame should, no heat comes from Its fire, and It is worshipped only by small pockets of cultists . Tulzscha is directly connected to the movement and alignment of the stars and planets. Thus, all rites and ceremonies are preformed during equinoxes, solstices, or other astrologically significant times When summoning is successful, there tends to be a corruption of the earth, quick erosion of nearby stone and the death of nearby plants and animals

It is The Blackness from the Stars, The Outer god*
The Blackness from the Stars is an immobile blob of living, sentient darkness, torn from the primal fabric of the cosmos at the center of the universe. It is distinguishable in darkness only as vaguely shimmering oily pitch. Although intelligent, it speaks no known language and ignores attempts to communicate. . Formed of the very fabric of the cosmos itself, the Blackness rests at the centre of all of Creation, an amorphous mass of sentient darkness. In the unlit nothingness of space it is distinguishable from its surroundings only as a faintly iridescent cloudy nebula. Although intelligent and certainly capable of communicating with other beings, the Blackness chooses not to, ignoring any attempt to engage it in conversation; when it does speak (although never to another entity), it vocalises in a language unknown to any other lifeform.

In appearance, Cxaxukluth resembles something of a cross between Azathoth and Ubbo-Sathla: an amorphous, writhing mass of bubbling, nuclear, protoplasmic-gel. He normally dwells alone within an unnamed dimension beyond time and space, unless disturbed or summoned away.

It is Ghroth, the Outer god

Ghroth drifts throughout the universe singing its siren song. As it swings by a planet, any Great Old One or Outer god sleeping there is awakened by the song. This usually results in the extinction of all life on the planet or perhaps even the utter destruction of the planet itself.
She is Mother Hydra, the Outer god
The Hydra's worshippers trick others into sending the god sacrifices through a ritual, the ritual also brings the subject into contact with the Hydra, which then merges with the individual's astral self, using it as a host. Shabbith-Ka is also said to exude an aura of strength, sentience and malignancy, although whether this is merely the natural miasma of an Outer god or something more is unclear.
It is Tru'nembra, the Outer god (being preformed by Mr. Eric Zann)
also known as The Angel of Music . Zann discovered melodies and rhythms of sound of an almost otherworldly nature. He plays these sounds to keep back unknown and unseen creatures from his window, which is said to look out into a black abyss, most likely another dimension. . If you were to stare out Zann's window in hopes of seeing the normal world outside, you would instead see an infinite abyss filled with strange beings . It is believed that although Zann has been dead for many years, he still plays the music of Tru'nembra

She is served by several devoted cults, members of Yidhra's cult can gain immortality by merging with her, though they become somewhat like Yidhra as a consequence. The Idiot Flute Players who dwell within The Court of Azathoth
Here in The Nuclear Court, thin flutes pipe mindlessly, a monotonous whine of accursed instruments. . Surrounding Azathoth and making sure he sleeps, or going with Nyarlathotep into unlighted dimensions; making blasphemous, inconceivable music.
