Tenets of the Cobalt Sorcerer

1. Every Cause has an Effect.

This is a simple fact of existence. Every action taken leads to a result, no matter how subtle or inconsequential.

2. A Causeless Cause must exist for creation.

Even if every Cause has an Effect, not every Cause has its own Cause. Everything must come from an origin, and the existence of a causeless, ultimate origin is accepted by atheists and religious alike. One can concede that existence could cause itself in a loop, but there must still always be a first cause - what started this loop? The most popular understandings are that God, the Big Bang, or any other creator which has always existed created the universe. In this sense, they are the Causeless Cause, or the Prime Mover.

3. The Causeless Cause must have Free Will.

Free will is defined as the ability to change the course of fate, to not let causes determine outcomes. By its very nature as a Causless Cause, the Prime Mover must have used Free Will to create the universe, as it had no cause to determine its actions.

4. As products of the Universe, we have parts of the Causeless Cause in us.

This is reflected in all major beliefs. We are an extension of the Big Bang, part of its expansion. We are filled with the Light or Holy Spirit of God, granting us free will. In Quantum Mechanics, some events are caused by particles that behave in truly random ways. Regardless of the cultural differences in these, the essential message is that part of the Causeless Cause exists in each of us. For simplicity's sake, let's call it a Spark.

5. By using the part of the Causeless Cause in us, we are capable of Free Will.

Yes, it is undeniably true that prior physical conditions determine the future - by default. By exercising the Spark that exists within ourselves, however, we can change the flow of events despite their otherwise determined paths, just as the Prime Mover once used this to exercise its own Free Will.

6. Causation does not imply Correlation.

As evidenced by the creation of the universe, a cause can create an effect, but they do not need to be linked in any way. This type of cause-effect relationship is known as a Paracausal effect. In this way, it is possible for the Spark that contains free will to create effects that cannot be linked to any causes outside of itself - this is known as True Magick.

7. Faith leverages your Spark.

In ancient times, Christ declared that "Faith the size of a mustard seed can move mountains." In modern psychokinesis experiments, the Sheep-Goat effect suggests that those believing in psychokinesis consistently score better than those who don't. In other words, belief is NOT a delusion - it is a real, tangible power that allows us to exercise our Free Will.

8. Without Love, it Cannot be Seen.

Today, most do not believe in anything beyond the mundane. Their Sparks are fueled by beliefs of skepticism, and so their Free Will is used to reinforce the physical, soulless relationship between cause and effect. It is near-impossible for them to view Paracausal Phenomena directly. This also makes it difficult for a practitioner to perform True Magick in front of skeptics, especially if the skeptics outnumber the practitioner. Therefore, for a skeptic to view and perform True Magick, their assumptions about the world must be unlearned.

9. However, Nothing is Impossible.

Through True Magick, events that can only be described as "Miracles" have come to pass, even in hardened skeptics. Learning more about oneself, the world around them and the nature of things allows for these Miracles to come to pass more often and more predictably. That is the goal of the Cobalt Sorcerer - to encourage belief in the seemingly impossible.

You really believe those tenets? He's full of shit. See for yourself.
